THE ARTISTIC SYNTHESIS IN THE MONUMENTAL ARTS AS AN EDUCATIONAL PROBLEM

Abstract: On focus is the role of monumental forms in the morphological structure of the visual arts and
the pedagogical dimensions of this problem. Significant examples and leading artistic figures are listed for the
pedagogical reflection of the social role of the monumental arts to be facilitated. The problem of the low level of
knowledge in this field among the students from the Pedagogy department of Asen Zlatarov University – Burgas
is studied. Compensatory strategies and methodology are suggested. The possible interdisciplinary relations
in the educational field are studied on the base of the empiric material from the observations during concrete
diagnostic practices.
