THE STREAM APPROACH IN TEACHING RELIGION IN THE INDUSTRY 4.0 ERA<\/h6>\n

Abstract<\/strong>: This paper provides a theoretical overview of the application of the STREAM (Science, Technology, <\/em>Religion, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach and its relationship to STEM learning in the context of <\/em>the contemporary education system in the 4.0 era. This contains a religious element that is an addition to the <\/em>standard STEAM approach. The essence of STREAM as an interdisciplinary vision, model, and approach to religious <\/em>education that makes synergistic connections between science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, <\/em>and mathematics is analyzed. The importance of STREAM for students\u2019 practical-applied activity related to the <\/em>realization of their religious identity and the achievement of concrete educational outcomes is emphasized. <\/em>Nine modules are outlined in which concrete examples of teachers\u2019 work in religion are proposed. In the conclusion, <\/em>attention is paid to the perspectives in the development of STREAM education in religion and the initial <\/em>preparation and qualification of teachers in partnership with the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and the academic <\/em>theological community.<\/em><\/p>\n
