Abstract<\/strong>: This article presents a study on the character strengths of students majoring in \u2018Preschool and Primary <\/em>School education\u2019 who are in their third year of studies. The study involved presenting the students with <\/em>the character strengths development model created by Peterson and Seligman. They then completed the VIA <\/em>questionnaire and discussed their individual profiles. Every student was asked to choose one of the five main <\/em>strengths listed in their personal profile and create a lesson plan or concept for improving primary students\u2019 <\/em>speaking and communication skills. For this purpose, they were provided with a methodological algorithm for <\/em>working with a literary work that introduces young students to character strengths. The students were asked to <\/em>report changes in the five key strengths between the two profiles when they completed the VIA questionnaire <\/em>once more at the end of the study.<\/em><\/p>\n
