ENCOURAGING PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT DURING THE PERIOD WHEN THREEYEAR-OLD ARE ADAPTING TO KINDERGARTEN

Abstract: This article presents a system of methods for interaction between the kindergarten and the family, designed to overcome the difficulties associated with the adaptation of three-year-old children into the new educational environment. These forms include parent-teacher meetings, parent visits to the kindergarten, joint activities between children and parents, and conversations with parents, which encourage cooperation and active family participation in kindergarten life. Parental support, based on mutual understanding and empathy, influences children’s emotional stability and helps foster a sense of belonging and confidence in the new environment. Joint activities lead to the development of trust, security, and positive relationships among parents, children, and teachers. Active cooperation between the teaching staff and the family helps the child adapt to the kindergarten environment, creating favorable conditions for their future holistic development.
