INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN MASS KINDERGARTEN: PATHS TOWARDS SUCCESSFUL SUPPORT OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL ABILITIES

Abstract: Inclusive education in preschool is a key factor in ensuring equal access to quality education and creating a supportive environment for every child. This report presents good practices for inclusion and support of children with special educational needs (SEN), implemented in the Brezichka Preschool in Vratsa. The kindergarten educates 8 children with SEN, for whom comprehensive and individualized support is provided through the coordinated work of pedagogical specialists, a resource teacher, a psychologist, a speech therapist and parents. The main emphasis is placed on the early identification of needs, the preparation of individual development strategies and the implementation of adapted educational approaches, tailored to the strengths and potential of each child. The report analyzes effective practices related to creating a positive psychological climate, adapting the educational environment, using game and interactive methods, as well as building sustainable communication with the family. Specific examples of successful socialization, improving communication skills and increasing the level of independence in children are presented. The practical experience of the Brezichka Primary School shows that successful inclusion is the result of professionalism, teamwork and shared responsibility between all participants in the educational process. Inclusive education is not only a pedagogical practice, but a value system that guarantees acceptance, support and opportunity for development for every child.
