Abstract: The introduction of e-Learning into the development of digital skills from early childhood is particularly important for the changing modern teaching due to development and achievements of the new ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and relations with the trainees. The introduction of new technologies in education is constantly increasing, which in turn creates a need for new trainers’ competencies to facilitate the deployment of improved ICT infrastructure and the adoption of e-integrated business processes and the need for development training.

This article aims to examine the current state of digital competences of teenage generation in Bulgarian educational system and to show that digital competences are key to success in today’s digital society.

Today educational institutions in the field of pre-school and primary pedagogy are challenged to provide students with sufficient knowledge and practices to meet the emerging skills and competency requirements of the labor market.
