Abstract: This article emphasizes the risks associated with excessive reliance on generative technologies, examining the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on visual arts education, the erosion of critical analytical skills in contemporary pedagogy, the standardization of visual language, and the automation of artistic cognition. The study focuses on the methodology of deconstruction and the role of AI as an object of critical scrutiny, along with the phenomenology of machine error. Generative AI operates through probabilistic models rather than genuine conscious understanding. Learners’ observational skills are cultivated through the analysis of distortions, visual inconsistencies, and inaccurate proportions. These errors are not merely technical flaws within the context of art education but represent the inherent limitations of machine perception. The article also addresses the development of academic confidence in digital learning environments, where students often experience diminished trust in their own artistic abilities due to the dominance of automatically generated images and the psychological effects on perception. Special attention is given to the authorial gesture as a form of resistance against algorithmic sterility, embodying human emotionality, cultural memory, and the aesthetic of imperfection. The pedagogical role of drawing from life is analyzed as a means to restore observational acuity, concentration, creative autonomy, and to overcome visual passivity. Art education should cultivate not only technical proficiency but also ethical reflection, critical thinking, and the capacity for conscious interaction with emerging technologies.
