POSSIBILITIES FOR THE APPLICATION OF AI IN THE TRAINING OF FUTURE SOCIAL PEDAGOGUES FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN AT RISK

Abstract: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) creates new opportunities for modernizing and optimizing higher education, including the training of future social pedagogues. In the context of working with children at risk, AI technologies can be used as a tool for enhancing the quality of the educational process by creating an interactive learning environment, fostering professional competencies, and integrating innovative approaches into the preparation of social pedagogy students aimed at acquiring the knowledge and skills required for working with vulnerable children and adolescents. This paper attempts to describe the use of AI for developing simulations of real-life cases, analyzing complex social situations, supporting risk assessment processes, and creating individualized support plans. Particular attention is given to the potential of AI to promote critical thinking and professional reflection among students. The paper also discusses ethical challenges related to data protection, the prevention of discriminatory practices, and the need for responsible and critical use of AI technologies in social-pedagogical practice.
