Abstract: The development of STEM culture is an important aspect of contemporary education, as STEM learning contributes not only to the acquisition and application of knowledge but also to the development of communication, collaboration, responsibility, and constructive behavior in shared learning environments. The present article conceptualizes STEM culture as a construct manifested through cultural awareness and cultural behavior in real, digital, and hybrid STEM environments. Its content is further specified through observable aspects related to teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, responsible use of materials and technologies, workplace organization, respect for different opinions, and participation in joint problem-solving. On this basis, the construct is operationalized through a system of criteria and indicators for assessing STEM culture. The article presents a diagnostic instrument designed to assess the early development of STEM culture among primary school students. The instrument includes tasks involving the use of key concepts, the analysis of visual situations, and the interpretation of behavior in the context of collaborative STEM activities. The proposed framework provides a basis for the qualitative and quantitative assessment of STEM culture and for identifying areas requiring further educational support.
