Abstract: This paper presents a comparative analysis of leading theoretical models of organizational learning and substantiates their applicability as a methodological basis for organizing continuing professional development for teaching staff. The starting thesis is that the school/kindergarten, viewed as organizations, face the same problems that organizational learning models were created to solve: converting individual experience into shared knowledge, overcoming resistance to change, and building a sustainable culture of learning. The paper compares Senge’s framework of the five disciplines, Schein’s ten dimensions of the learning organization, Revans’ method of action learning, Deming’s cycle (PDCA/PDSA), the ADKAR model for change management, and Mintzberg’s model of organizational structure, situating each at a distinct level of analysis – cultural, methodological, psychological, or structural. The analysis shows that these models are not interchangeable but mutually complementary, and that combining them yields a synthesized six-step framework – cultural diagnosis, calibration of task difficulty, an action-reflection cycle, management of individual transition, structural transfer of knowledge, and resource allocation – that school leadership can use as a diagnostic checklist for evaluating and improving their own continuing professional development practices.
