TRANSFORMATION OF TEAHER COMPETENCIES IN THE CONTEXT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELIGENCE

Abstract: In the era of artificial intelligence and rapidly evolving technologies, the role of the teacher andthe requirements for professional preparation are undergoing significant transformation. This study aims to explore the transformation of teachers’ competencies in the context of the digital transformation of education and the changing requirements for their knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes in the age of artificial intelligence. Through an analysis of regulatory documents, competency frameworks, and findings from contemporary research, the main directions in the transformation of teachers’ competencies under the increasing integration of artificial intelligence in education are identified. Based on this analysis, the opportunities and challenges arising from the use of AI-based technologies are examined, and recommendations for the development of teachers’ professional competencies are proposed.
