„GOODNESS BEGINS IN CHILDHOOD“: SOCIALEMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE FORMATION OF MORAL VALUES IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN THROUGH THE INTERNAL PROJECT „I AM GOOD, YOU ARE GOOD“

Abstract: During the 2024/2025 school year, the internal project „I Am Good, You Are Good“ was implemented at Kindergarten „Kalina Malina“, aimed at the social and moral education of preschool children. The set goals were achieved through activities divided into five categories: Moral and social values, patriotism and civic education, kindness and initiative, cognitive and creative activities, cooperation and partnership.
The implementation of the internal project „I Am Good, You Are Good“ had a positive impact on the socialemotional and moral development of the children. Through integrated activities combining knowledge, experience, and action, the project created a supportive educational environment for cultivating virtues such as kindness, empathy, respect, responsibility, and tolerance. The children became aware of the importance of goodness and its expression in daily life. Successful partnerships between teachers, children, and parents were established.
