ESTABLISHING EFFECTIVE DIALOGUE AND PRACTICAL INTERACTION BETWEEN EDUCATORS, PARENTS AND PARTNERS THROUGH THE INTERNAL PROJECT „HEALTH – THE GREATEST WEALTH“

Abstract: This paper presents an original pedagogical practice implemented at Kindergarten „Kalina Malina“ (Pazardzhik, Bulgaria) through the internal project „Health – The Greatest Treasure“, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles in early childhood education. The innovation of the project lies in the integration of health education with emotional and social development, and the establishment of an active and equal partnership between educators, families, and community actors. The project tackled the growing problem of sedentary behavior, unhealthy eating, and poor hygiene habits among young children by developing sustainable health-related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors through age-appropriate, engaging, and inclusive approaches.
This pedagogical practice contributes an innovative organizational model that bridges early childhood education and family/community engagement. It offers an effective, scalable solution to a universal educational challenge: building lifelong health culture starting from preschool age.
