COMPETITION AS A SUCCESSFUL FORM FOR REALIZING THE GOALS OF CIVIC, HEALTH, INTERCULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN KINDERGARTEN

Abstract: The report examines the competition as an effective pedagogical form for realizing goals in civic, health, intercultural and environmental education in preschool. We present the competition not as a form of competition, but as a game activity that stimulates participation, cooperation, and experience. During the pedagogical practice at the „Snezhanka“ Kindergarten – Pazardzhik, a thematic competition „Let’s play, let’s get to know the world, if we know the rights and responsibilities of children“ is held, including didactic games with a focus on cultural diversity, healthy lifestyle, nature conservation and civic virtues.
The study shows that children show interest, activity, tolerance and understand basic social and environmental values. The findings emphasize that competitions facilitate experiential learning, promote personal and social development, and should be integrated as a sustainable practice in modern preschool education.
