FAIRY TALES COME TO LIFE: DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTIONAL AND SPEECH CULTURE THROUGH DRAMATIZATION IN THE THIRD AGE GROUP

Abstract: Childhood is a period of intensive development, in which the foundations of personality, communication and social adaptation are laid. In this phase, language and emotions go hand in hand – children not only learn to speak, but also through speech make sense of the world around them and themselves in it. Speech development is not limited to the correct pronunciation of sounds – it includes expanding the vocabulary, improving the grammatical structure, developing a logical and consistent expression of thoughts and feelings. In addition, the ability to emotionally express and understand other people’s emotions is the basis of the ability to coexist, empathize and deal with difficult situations.
The „trong Start“ project offers a concept for supporting the child in his or her overall development, by uniting the efforts of teachers, parents and specialists in creating a rich environment for learning through experience. It is in this framework that practices related to art, play and emotional intelligence find a particularly important place. The dramatization of fairy tales is a synthesis between artistic speech, movement, expression and empathy. Through it, the child is placed in the role of another person or being, enters into different social situations and learns to understand points of view, motivations and feelings. This makes it an extremely suitable form for pedagogical practice, which simultaneously develops speech, imagination and social skills.
