Abstract: Folklore holidays, folk games and songs have a strong impact on the upbringing of children in preschool, forming in them basic values and virtues such as honesty, hard work and empathy. Through active participation in traditional customs and festivals, children develop a sense of belonging, respect for tradition and family, sharing and social responsibility. Folk games encourage cooperation, respect for rules and respect for others, while songs enrich emotional expression and stimulate a sense of community. The educational power of folklore lies in its ability to impart life wisdom through images and stories that inspire and impact in a deeper manner. Thus folklore, through holidays and music and movement activities, becomes a valuable tool for building social skills and moral qualities in early childhood.

Keywords: folklore, values, virtues, social skills
