HISTORY COMES ALIVE: INTERACTIVE PROJECTS FOR EDUCATION IN PATRIOTISM AND INCLUSION THROUGH HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE

Abstract: The current paper presents a pedagogical approach aimed at fostering patriotic education and personal development through interactive history-based projects. These include school newspapers, reenactments, storytelling, and gamified activities. The activities engage students emotionally and socially, making history accessible and meaningful. Particular attention is paid to working in a multicultural environment, integrating digital tools to enhance civic and patriotic values. The initiatives help build national identity, promote inclusion, and inspire a deeper connection to Bulgaria’s historical legacy.
