EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENHANCING LOGICAL THINKING AND SPATIAL REPRESENTATION IN PRESCHOOLAGED CHILDREN

Abstract: The development of logical thinking and spatial orientation is essential for the cognitive development of preschool-aged children. These skills lay the foundation for future academic achievement across various subject areas. In the context of modern education, there is a growing interest in the use of interactive methods and educational technologies as a means of stimulating cognitive activity from an early age. Play, as the leading activity during the preschool period, offers broad opportunities for the development of logical operations and spatial representations. Through carefully selected tasks in mathematical cognitive activities and educational games, the educational process can be both effective and motivating, encouraging young children to actively engage in a variety of learning experiences. The integration of logic-based tasks and spatial exercises into early childhood education supports the development of problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. Educational technologies such as interactive whiteboards and programmable toys create dynamic learning environments that foster exploration and discovery. By combining traditional play with structured educational strategies, educators can create meaningful learning experiences that align with children’s developmental needs and interests.
