INSTITUTIONAL POLICY OF THE KINDERGARTEN FOR THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALISTS

Abstract: This report outlines the structure of an institutional policy for the professional development of pedagogical specialists in a kindergarten setting. The policy has been successfully implemented for five years at Kindergarten “Kalina Malina” in Pazardzhik, serving as a strategic framework aimed at sustainably enhancing the quality of the educational process. It examines key structural components, including the institution’s vision, mission, goals, objectives, priorities, organizational structures, activities, and the system for monitoring and evaluation. Special emphasis is placed on knowledge management as a vital element of the institution’s organizational culture. The report underscores the pivotal role of continuous professional development for pedagogical staff as a fundamental driver for improving teaching practices, integrating innovations, and achieving the priorities outlined in both national and European educational policies.
