ETHNO-PEDAGOGICAL PROJECTIONS OF TEACHING BULGARIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE IN PRESCHOOL AGE

Abstract: Preserving national identity in the conditions of multiculturalism at the beginning of the 21st century is a pedagogical challenge for teachers. They can achieve this by implementing various methods, forms, and approaches: informative – by providing knowledge about the Bulgarian diaspora, its historical past and present, geographical location, livelihood, ties with the ancestral homeland, etc.; linguistic-communicative – handling ethnolect; emotional – through methods that resonate in the child’s soul, evoke certain feelings; behavioral – mainly ritualistic – contact with traditions, customs, folklore heritage. The modern teacher, through the children’s contact with our festive and ritual system, transmits to them not only life, but also spiritual, moral experience, which supports their future growth and formation of civic virtues.
