TЕSTING THE INNOVATIVE VOCAL-PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGY, BASED ON THE AUTHOR’S MODEL „SINGING MIRROR“ AMONG CHILDREN AND ADULTS
STUDYING IN NON-FORMAL MUSIC-EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract: The article reflects an experiment, testing an innovative vocal-pedagogical technology, based on the author’s model called „Singing Mirror“. The model offers training in folklore singing in pairs for children, as well as for adults. The experiment was conducted as part of the third edition of a summer training-camp with the same name. It involved seven participants (children aged 8 to 12 and adults aged 38 to 43) in a total of five separate pairs, as some of the participants were combined into more than one pair. All of the children take lessons in a non-formal musical and educational class, whereas the adults have no previous experience, apart from listening to music at home. The results were generated through the analytical-synthetic method, the observation method during the training, and a questionnaire survey among the participants and parents of the children who took part in the camp.
