Abstract: Gamification as an innovative approach in education offers new opportunities for increasing activity. The goal of gamification is to make learning more fun and interesting for students, increasing their motivation and engagement. Gamification also allows to overcome the perception of the learning process as difficult by directing the focus of learners towards an interactive and motivating environment based on game mechanisms. The article attempts to present gamification with its characteristics and advantages. The relevance of this study lies in the growing interest in non-traditional teaching methods. This trend is due to the modernization of education in the 21st century, which leads to the integration of innovative technologies into the traditional educational system.
