USING MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES TO STIMULATE CHILDREN’S SPEECH AND STORYTELLING SKILLS

Abstract: Creating a good and well-organized work environment for the development of connected speech in the educational field of Bulgarian language and literature in preschool age requires the search for modern means that create interest in children and provoke them to actively participate in a situation, where they are required to speak. The use of multimedia materials creates interest and motivation, enriches the child’s imagination andits thinking. These resources allow educational content to be presented in a fun and interactive way. Through the pictures presented on a large screen, the child gains social experience and develops logical thinking. Positive emotional atitudes support children’s speaking skills and stimulate their ability to create cohesive oral text.
