Abstract: The report presents various techniques with the help of which we can enrich and diversify the teaching of Art Education and respond adequately to the needs and wants of children with deficits or problems of self-expression. The experience I am sharing is the result of the participation of a group of teachers from the Kindergarten ‘Zname na mira’, Vratsa in the training course ‘Art as Therapy: Self-Expression and Special Needs in Art Education’, which was held in Barcelona, Spain, in period 02 – 06.10.2023 and was the first stage of the
implementation of the project “Mission awakener/ teacher of the new age“ under the program ‘Erasmus+’, Key activity 1, sector ‘School education’.
