Abstract: Modern technology and mass information demand more creativity, innovation and critical thinking. Well-rounded individuals are once again in demand, and the education system must respond to the trends. Early interdisciplinary education is imperative. It helps students understand the connections between science, technology and art, and to work as a team. Integrating science, technology, engineering, art and math in the environmental projects into education provides students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to be stewards of the environment. This type of learning stimulates students to be discoverers, as well as to make a connection between theoretical knowledge and its practical real application.
