PARENT AND TEACHER TOGETHER FOR A BETTER FUTURE

‘Tsanko Tserkovski’ Elementary School, Sredishte village
Abstract: In ‘Tsanko Tserkovski’ Primary School in Sredishte, a tradi on has been established since 2014 to^conduct training sessions on various topics and in diff erent formats. The environment in which a child develops is crucial, whether it’s the family, school, or society. Schools and families share the responsibility for a child’s socializa on and must fi nd common ground and ways to ac vely interact in the interest of providing the best upbringing and educa on for the children. Crea ng successful communica on and posi ve interac on between parents and teachers is important for all par es involved. The goals of these training sessions include: crea ng good prac ces by applying new approaches and modern tools and methods to involve parents in both classroom and extracurricular ac vi es; building trust and strengthening the partnership between the school and families. Expected outcomes and conclusions:
– For students: encouragement of activity and individual expression.
– For parents: understanding the essence of the pedagogical process and daily life at school; strengthening
the parental community as an important institution; better understanding of their own children.
– For teachers: application of various strategies and techniques for communicating with parents and their
children; relying on parental assistance when problems arise.
