Abstract: In education, artificial intelligence provides different opportunities. One approach to developing artificial intelligence software is through logical and knowledge-based approaches, including knowledge representation, inductive (logic) programming, knowledge bases, inference, and deduction machines, (symbolic) judgments, and expert systems. The article presents the concept, model, and architecture of a virtual network supporting the teaching of logic programming in secondary schools in Bulgaria. The network is a distributed knowledge base built on a modular basis, where individual developers can create their own modules that are easily integrated into the network infrastructure. The network provides shared user access. The usability of the network is demonstrated with two examples developed by students of different age groups in different schools in Bulgaria. By developing a language for logical programming of programs and knowledge bases students more easily understand, learn, and understand the material of various educational subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.). In addition, they acquire various skills, expand their understanding of the operation of artificial intelligence systems and how their development by students can be effectively implemented. The article supplements the information field with innovative methods, means and organizational forms for the educational process.
