ANALYSIS AND COMPARISON OF TOOLS FOR ASSESSING CHILDREN’S SCHOOL READINESS AND FUNCTIONAL LITERACY

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyze and compare different test batteries assessing school readiness and to establish its functional literacy. The research focuses on identifying the main components and characteristics of these test instruments that are designed to assess children’s school readiness in the context of their functional literacy. The analysis includes an assessment of the validity and reliability of the tests, as well as their applicability in different educational contexts. In addition, the study compared the results and performance of different test batteries to determine their strengths and weaknesses. Emphasize the importance of assessing school readiness and functional literacy, offering recommendations for optimizing assessment tools and practices in education systems. The results of the analysis provide information for educators who are looking for effective methods to assess and improve children’s readiness for school.
