Abstract: The main purpose of this report is to present, analyze and summarize various ideas of students – future educators regarding the formation of knowledge, skills and attitudes for sustainable development in preschool children, necessary for the future democratically thinking citizen. An attempt has been made to present the vision of education for sustainable development in the context of civic education. The development is based on the implementation of set interactive tasks for students from the specialties ‘Preschool pedagogy and primary school pedagogy’, ‘Preschool pedagogy and foreign language’, as well as ‘Social pedagogy’ in the process of their training in human rights. Acquaintance with human rights, respectively – obligations, from the earliest childhood guarantees the successful development of responsibility, both for one’s own life and for the lives of others.
