Abstract: This publication aims to present practical experience of applying innovative technologies and their place in the educational process. Emphasis is placed on the need to apply innovations in the field of teaching methods and techniques in preschool education. Creative games with LEGO® Education support logical thinking, develop cognitive and analytical skills. They allow children to group, rearrange, tell, and build confidence in their own abilities. Creative play with LEGO® in the educational direction „Fine Art“ is a unique experience for children of the second age group „Usmivka“ and an incomparable challenge for their teachers. This innovation is part of the activities of the National Program „It’s nice at Kindergarten“, and its result is of particular importance for the acquisition of a set of competencies needed in preschool age.
