STEM TRAINING IN SUPPORT OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIRST GROUP OF KINDERGARTEN

Abstract: STEM education is an activity providing a great opportunity to support children’s development. Through it, the teacher can provoke an interest in the child, which will subsequently serve to discover facts about the world, to make decisions, to propose solutions, to prepare the child for future life. STEM helps children learn skills that will be useful in the outside world. The paper presents example of STEM based work at kindergarten with the smallest kids from the First kindergarten group (3-4 years old kids)
