Abstract: The considered model for organizing the intra-institutional qualification of assistant educators aims to make an attempt for optimal interaction of all participants in preschool education – children, teachers, assistant educators. A change in attitudes and ideas about the function and activities performed by assistant educators is sought. The qualification of assistant educators must be carried out with the same responsibility and awareness of its usefulness in order to achieve the expected effectiveness of the educational environment in kindergartens. The role and figure of the assistant educator has an important role in increasing the quality of care, upbringing and socialization of children in kindergarten, as a valuable resource and another adult who can create quality relationships with children.
