Abstract: Contemporary pedagogy is an ever-changing field that is constantly searching new ways to develop and update teachers’ skills. The challenges before the teachers in the elementary stage are numerous and varied, but among them one of the main ones are the management and protection of vocal health. Modern scientific research emphasizes the importance of psycho-physical approaches to voice training to improve the vocal health of teachers. The presentation will look at the structure of the vocal apparatus, how sound is produced, the role of the tongue, the importance of proper breathing and how to train and improve voice quality through specific exercises and techniques.
