ASPECTS OF THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN KINDERGARTEN

Abstract: Key aspects of quality of education are considered in the context of teacher qualifications in the process of education, upbringing and socialization of children, communication in the kindergarten community and the children’s portfolio as a tool to reflect their progress in relation to quality assurance. A survey among teachers from kindergartens in Varna, Shumen, Targovishte and Razgrad is presented, based on which criteria and indicators for measuring quality in the kindergarten are derived. The analysis of the results of the study leads to conclusions about the importance of the professional competences of teachers for the quality of education, upbringing and socialization of children and reflecting their achievements for assessing progress.
