Abstract: The helping behavior of people is a phenomenon that causes a lot of interest, including from a scientific point of view. Of course, it is determined by a number of factors, which are the subject of analysis in other author publications. Current research looks at the relationship between individual and group interest, as well as the individual’s position when they are in conflict. The reaction of people when their altruism is compromised in a state of stress is also studied. 70 persons were surveyed, and while filling in the form, they were placed in a state of  elative anxiety in order to recreate a situation of stress and the emotions that respond to it. It relies on the sincerity of the respondents.
