KNITTING A SCARF BY HANDS – A WAY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE THINKING AND STUDENTS’ IMAGINATION

Abstract: If you capture all students ‘attention with something that activates all their sences, imagination and creative thinking-then they would be able to assimilate new skill better and follow the instructions more easily. The innovative method of knitting a scarf by hand allows students through their personal work to make something that can always be used. Knitting a scarf is a unique way to reduce emotional stress among students and stimulate the process of learning and creative thinking. Knitting develops patience and it is important for students during class work. Knitting a scarf allows students to be creative in solving problems, lets them improve their current ways of thinking and behaviour.
