Abstract: Associate painting is a creative activity, which is a real opposition to norms and rules, the fatigue
and the boredom of uniformity of standards. Here you can show the emotions transmitted using not the subject
images, but the abstract symbols created by the imagination. It allows more accurate expression of author’s
thoughts, a new way of looking at the surrounding world, and finding a way to free self-expression and selfknowledge.
During the pre-school age, the child perceives and realizes, as far as possible, the surrounding
world. Developing skills for pictorial creativity is a suitable way to express childhood spirit. This helps to develop
personal qualities such as teamwork skills, broad tolerance, critical, creative, and analytical thinking in the child.
Using standard drawing techniques and using popular pictorial materials can create a template for creativity
– children begin using reference forms to portray objects that are perceived. This can easily be overcome by
acquiring skills to work with a variety of methodological approaches and the use of new imaging techniques and
non-traditional visual materials
Keywords: pictorial creativity, imagination, non-traditional visual materials
