Abstract: The report looks at the role of rhythmic upbringing in age up to 10 years. Movements, rhythmic games and dances of different peoples support children’s development, develop musical abilities, have a nurturing character and create the opportunity for orientation in space, coordination of movements, tolerance and empathy in communication. Through movements and games, the search and discovery of diverse information is stimulated, the child is prompted to ask questions and make connections between different elements of the same phenomenon or process. This stimulates the integrity of perception and understanding of the connections between the elements of an object. Rhythmic upbringing is necessary for the general upbringing of children.
