“OPPORTUNITY STORE“ – FORUM FOR EXCHANGING OF EXPERIENCE AND IDEAS

Abstract: This article presents authors’ concept for a model of working with junior high school students in a new method, called by its founders „Shop of Opportunities“. This model of work enriches the existing interactive approaches to interaction with students that we all know (Step by step, Steps to success, Peers help peers, etc.) and is aimed at improving human intelligence. „Everything in life changes when everyone discovers their intelligences (abilities), when they touch the essence and discover their mission!“ The „Shop of Opportunities“ method was born in the small psychology room at the First Primary School „St. St. Cyril and Methodius“, Gotse Delchev. His life is inspired by the two school psychologists Maria Kalinova and Valentin Atanasov, whose initial idea was to be a forum for the exchange of experience, skills, knowledge and ideas between the participants. One of the main goals of the „Shop of Opportunities“ is to „unlock“ the full potential of human intelligence from an early age. Developing and educating them in children helps to cope with the challenges facing them, turning them into active participants and creators of their own lives. The model is the basis for the success and happiness of every child and enables students to learn effectively, to cope with difficulties independently, to make the right decisions, to resolve conflicts positively, to create lasting friendships, successful alliances, to be more confident in interact with the world around them and be yourself.
