SYNODAL TEXTBOOKS ON RELIGION – INNOVATION, LEARNING CONTENT AND PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES

Abstract: The article presents the new textbooks on religion – christian-orthodoxy, published by the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church – Bulgarian Patriarchate. The innovative in their content, the offered organizational forms, teaching methods and opportunities for pedagogical interaction are presented. On the basis of a study, including an analysis of the practical activities included in the curriculum of the textbooks for 6th and 7th grade, three main groups are distinguished:
1) interactive,
2) pictorial, visual and constructive creative and
3) verbal-creative activities .
The practical methods used are presented according to the frequency of their use.
