Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has imposed new trends in the management of organizations, accompanied by fundamental changes in their structure and way of working. Scientific management based on the general theory of management, which aims to develop and propose practical tools for management, taking into account the specific conditions of operation – this case of realities in the form of quarantine, self-isolation and „social distance”. Management as a scientific discipline based on many areas of scientific knowledge – sociology, psychology, economic analysis and marketing, law. The pandemic has maximized the penetration of modern technologies and online services, built on a radically different attitude, as well as a completely new approach, which in turn has led to the need for professionals who have new, different skills, especially in the field of communications and work in an online environment. Along with this are the requirements for management staff to have specialized skills for research of the external and internal environment and knowledge of decision-making methods in the field of strategic planning, marketing, organizational processes and technologies in these extremely crisis conditions.
