Abstract: The article presents a description of a lesson on innovative pedagogical practice in the classes of interests in a group In 4th grade, entitled „Painting on water“. EBRU sounds like a mystical word, and actually comes from the Turkish ebri, which means a cloud – it’s an art of painting on water. It is also called the art of marbling – due to the effect of marble-like paint. There is also an interpretation according to which the word, translated from Persian, means „water surface“. It has existed since the 9th century. From the school year 2017/2018 First St. Cyril and St. Methodius Primary School in Gotse Delchev is an innovative school. Therefore, the article offers a model of innovative education which emphasizes the use of non-traditional techniques in order to raise the common interest and commitment to the world of art.
