Abstract: Project „My superhero“ – a binary, summary lesson, designed for students studying the subjects „The human and the nature“ and „IT“ in 6th grade. Aim – A summary of theoretical knowledge about the different types of powers and programming in Scratch and their creative application. The teams create their animated superheroes in Scratch (costumes, dialogue, names, superpowers, superheroes’ missions). They plan an experiment which visualises a superhero’s superpower, programmed in Scratch. The experiment is described in a presentation. The teams present the animated superheroes in Scratch, demonstrate the experiment and the presentation in front of their classmates and parents during the lesson. The used practical and demonstrative methods help building skills for carrying out an independent experiment and applying algorithms for programming, transforming learning into an exciting process.
