Abstract: Science escape room in the classroom is a different summary lesson which is based on the topic of „Chordate animals“, and designed for students in 7th grade, Biology and Health Education. Just like in the real „escape room“, the students are „locked“ in this game. The aim is to find and save an endangered animal by deciphering the „escape“ codes, following the clues and solving the tasks within 30 minutes. „Science escape room“ consists of 6 clues and the questions are about the structure and processes of Chordate animals. The answers of the questions are part of a code that needs to be entered into the corresponding section in Google forms. Only the correct answer allows you to proceed to the next clue. By successfully progressing through each clue, students receive parts of a puzzle with the image of the endangered animal which they have to save. Finally, in order to complete the mission, students put the parts of the puzzle together and guess correctly the respective animal.
