Abstract: The report is about the role of art in the aesthetic and moral education of preschool children and describes the work in the third preparatory group of the Rainbow Nursery School in a mini-project entitled „The Magic World of Art“. The aim of the project is to educate children through the means of art in the spirit of the basic human values: Beauty, Goodness and Truth. The effectiveness of the project work has also determined the connection between all the means of aesthetic and moral upbringing and various activities – play, pictorial, theatrical, artistic-speaking, musical. The report describes all the activities related to the realization of the set objectives and tasks of the fields: fine arts, literature, theater, music. As well as parents’ cooperation in our activities. The results obtained are the enriched children’s knowledge about the different types of arts and a developed attitude towards this knowledge, which is the basis of forming the spiritual world of man, his views, beliefs, behavior.
