Abstract: Trends in modern pedagogy lead to the opening of the teaching methodology, the renewal of approaches and the means of motivating children and pupils to learn and seek knowledge. Project activity is one of the ways to attract the attention and to modernize the educational process. The school and the kindergarten have not only an educational but also a social function. In the context of this new socio-pedagogical reality, the interaction between strategy, plans, programs and projects leads to better sustainability in outcomes. The strategy sets priorities for development over a longer period. The development plan is the instrument for its implementation, the programs are part of the plan and are a means of achieving the objectives set out in the development plan and the projects in many respects resemble the programs, for example because they are planned over time, require financial investment, help achieve the strategic objectives, as opposed to programs, have clear and precisely planned schedules, specific objectives, specific actions and steps needed to achieve the relevant results. [1:47]. In the management of the educational institution we distinguish the following main management functions: planning organization, motivation and control. The projects help to varying degrees each of them. The project cycle can be related to the work cycle in the kindergarten. According to P. Kozhuharova, in the first phase the project is defined, the second is resource planning, the third is realized, and the fourth is the progress [2:22].
