Abstract: In this study we have reviewed one side of the managerial cluster – the importance of the management for a school, its development and the motivation of the students and the teachers in it. We have analyzed in depth the necessary skills and knowledge for a good school management considering that this specific field requires both high professionalism and competence in managing a very dynamic process and delicate HR supervision. In this study we can see that good management promotes motivation in all sides of the educational environment and also boosts the rating of the institution. This, in return attracts more students, which creates bigger competition at the admission stage and later in the classroom. In the end, this brings more resources for the school and a better financial motivation for the teachers. This cycle shows the power of a good educational management.
