Abstract: Education and training on Road Safety Is a type of social learning, where the role of practical
skills is leading. It has to be implemented through new approaches to delivering educational content and in
combination with innovative technologies. The possibilities of new technologies develop the information culture
and enrich the cognitive potential of children from an early age.
By linking innovative and traditional methods of education and training, we strive to help children realize
themselves as active participants in road traffic, identify the dangers that hide the street and learn patterns
of safe behavior. Since 2003 Is a Road Traffic Safety Curriculum in the kindergarten, according to which Traffic
Safety training is an integral part of the education and training process. The foundations of the common culture
and behavior of the personality are put into pre-school age. From that moment on, children should be prepared
for their “lifelong” profession – a pedestrian-like movement.
