Abstract: The article examines the cooperation between kindergarten and family, which is expressed through various models of interaction that promote a shared commitment to children’s education and openness in the relationship between all participants in the process of raising and educating preschool children. The article examines two models of interaction with the parent community – literary dialogue collection and project work. The purpose of these forms of interaction is to create a basis for a stimulating learning environment through partnership with parents, providing conditions for the formation of skills in children needed in their first grade, namely: language skills, purposeful work, practical thinking, work discipline and communication skills. The forms of interaction presented in the report are realized with teachers, parents and children of the fourth age group in the kindergarten „Zname na mira“, Vratsa.
