Abstract: The report presents a prac ce-prac cum with theore cal, observa onal and experimental ac vi
es involved in the teaching of the natural science of students in a group for the whole-day organisa on. The
class is planned and conducted as a part of non-formal and alterna ve educa on. By means of separate work
centers, under the leadership of the lecturers, experimental tasks have been realized on the „Natural science“ –
IV – V grade and cover topics: „Proper es of substances“, „Crystals and minerals“, „Movement and energy“
„Forces“ and others. Through the planned and realized ac vi es, a link is established between the diff erent educa
onal levels as well as the students’ interest in experimental ac vi es in order to develop skills for experimenta
on and analysis of the obtained results. The realized experiments are described in individual laboratory
books. In the course of the session, a ra ng of the experiments is made by assessing the sixth system. At the end
of the binary class, each pupil determines with his emo con his comfort zone „Interes ng“, „Funny“ and „Useful”.
As a result of this prac ce-lesson in non-formal learning, students have the opportunity to express their crea
ve poten al and to enrich the theory and prac ce of non-formal learning in “Natural science”, as well as the
connec on with the training in this discipline in the next stage. The ac vi es carried out in the workshops and
the fi nished products produced in them are part of the joint research and experimenta on ac vity between students
and teachers, a proof of con nuity between the diff erent stages of educa on.
